Simple base, simply based.
底 base is a herbal-based skincare brand rooted in the purity of ingredients and the clarity of information. We aim to resolve the industry’s chronic issues of over-promising and information saturation. A dynamic system of dots and pixels was built for a brand ecosystem that transforms skincare into an unobtrusive lifestyle.
We designed the base.sans: A typeface defined by restraint and clarity. This typeface is flexible enough to fit in any possible touchpoint and collateral.
The packaging design is built upon a 1.5pt basic unit, which evolves into a flexible visual system. On the bottle, the logo is articulated as a rational square and a line. Drawing from the primal history of human herbal grinding, our CMF design is a modern reimagining of the traditional grinder.

A system is developed on the square dots, and for the first time, I utilized Gemini, helping me code a dynamic pixel monogram.
